Description:  Smart Adapters provide a Modbus TCP/UDP remote I/O interface to SoftPLC's Tealware I/O, which can be used with a SoftPLC controller or any other controller that can drive ModbusTCP I/O.

Features:  Embedded firewall to secure remote I/O drops from unauthorized access; Allows users to determine power loss/fault states on a per-point basis and more. With a SoftPLC controller, remote serial server capability allows the Smart Adapter's five serial ports to be used to connect Modbus, DF1 ASCII, and other serial devices.
Specifications:  Each adapter supports up to 12 racks of I/O (3072 points); Embedded 4-port Ethernet switch w/ fiber port option; DIN-rail mount; 5 serial ports
