Description:
The Communication Protocol Test Harness is a Windows(tm) application
that simulates Master or Outstation devices, monitors communications, or
performs custom functional tests. A module to automatically perform the
Modbus Conformance Test Procedures is included with the standard Modbus
license. It can be configured through a GUI or Tcl/Tk scripts. A
configurable database of simulation points allows emulation of standard
off-the-shelf devices. Additional instrumentation such as voltage or
current generators can be controlled to automatically establish a test
condition and confirm the expected results through the communication
protocol.
