The 460PSMC moves data between up to 32 Modbus TCP/IP Server devices and a Profinet IO Controller. With the 460PSMC you are making a direct connection between Modbus TCP/IP Server data and user defined Slots in your Profinet IO Controller. The 460PSMC provides an option to access Modbus TCP/IP Server devices without having to upgrade your PLC or get an expensive in rack solution.
