Description:  The RAD-WHG/WLAN-XD is a WirelessHART gateway with integrated 802.11b/g WLAN transceiver. It can connect up to 250 WirelessHART field devices and convert the HART data to Modbus TCP for easy integration into almost any control system. The connection can be made via the onboard Ethernet port or the WLAN client transceiver, and the HART to Modbus TCP mapping is automatic. The flexibility of the WLAN client transceiver allows users to eliminate ethernet cabling to a host system, use it as a back-up to the wired connection, or as a wireless remote access for programming and diagnostics.
